Peter is a senior consultant with Policy Partners and a past Partner with Canberra Consulting Pty Ltd.
He has over 20 years’ experience as a Principal Consultant, providing performance management services in the areas of strategy, risk, change, problem resolution, governance, crisis events, and capability reforms. Peter started as an Army Apprentice (31st Intake), and since 1986 has held CEO and Senior Executive positions.
Peter is a specialist in strategy, performance and risk. He leads and facilitates organisational priority setting, reform agenda development, and crisis recovery needs at senior and mid-level management of organisations spanning government, not-for-profit, and the private sector.
Peter has 40 years of industry experience spanning military, public, not-for-profit, and private sectors, including complex, challenging and often hostile insolvency recoveries. He has a wealth of experience, thought leadership and, importantly, the pragmatic disciplines and structures necessary to lead senior and middle management on the stepping-stones to develop and accept organisational priorities and, critically, the detail to action those priorities.
Peter leads public sector agencies and public programs to innovative postures for performance, or back from the brink of disaster, has facilitated the reform of public policy, led agencies to more relevant thinking and investment prioritisation in relation to Whole of Government and COAG driven agenda.
