Performance review of departmental security arrangements

Tony Webster led a Canberra Consulting Resources team which undertook a review of the effectiveness and efficiency of the Departmental Security Unit and provided a roadmap for improved performance.

The review included:

an assessment of conformance with the Commonwealth’s Protective Security Policy Framework

a review of workloads, processes, organisational structures and appropriate staff resources

an assessment of risk management practices

governance arrangements in respect of departmental security
